A flicker of disappointment crossed the Doctor's face. "Right, of course." While he couldn't fathom not bringing it up, even with someone who wanted him dead, this fellow was most certainly not him.

"Ah, recognition." His face lit up a bit. "That is something, yes. Unless..." The Doctor pondered over that. If they had been taken, their memories of it were gone, which meant these people had some ability to manipulate memory.
