Well, that wasn't nearly as much fun. Gabriel wasn't quite sure if he wanted to chalk that up as a win, but then decided, why not? A win was a win. At least he managed not to let his mocking little smile slip, even while he wondered, just what were the odds of finding another brother here?

"I am the answering machine," he told the man with a flick of his fork, and then he shrugged. "Usually. I quit. Figured I'd have a life-time's guarantee for some kind of contact details, but apparently the number's changed a bit."
