The fact that Gabriel had managed to conjure something for even just a few moments had Balthazar surprisingly jealous. It, once again, spoke volumes of an archangel's power, even one so very cut off and far from home, that he had managed to do it. Of course, he didn't envy his brother's sorry state after all was said and done.
