"Ugh, responsibility," he quipped, the word dripping in dramatics. It was true that Balthazar was the last to be responsible for anything, even going so far as to just be outright lazy. He preferred it that way, though. He was far more complicated than his blasé mask, but why put all your cards on the table at once? It made it easier to surprise when everybody thought you nothing more than a simple lay-about. "That's for a different day. For now, let's worry about if you'll be able to make it the rest of the way, because I seriously doubt you're ready to go even if they were."
