"Yes, I think so," he finished. This was probably the most he had talked about the family or home in such a long time, and it didn't bring good memories with it. Sure, he had some (he thinks) warm thoughts about Heaven, but the bad so much outweighed the good that it was absolutely exhausting to think about it.
