He wasn't an inherently violent man, not in the conventional sense, and it was rare for him to commit an act of physical aggression against another person, but that didn't mean he was unable to take enjoyment from observing as humans fought among themselves, or better yet, when they fought thanks to his subtle manipulations in the background. He loved humans and therefore wanted to learn everything there was to know about them, and their base and ugly emotions often interested him most of all.
