The whole room had been searched, top the bottom. There seemed nothing particularly out of the ordinary (well, aside from everything else) or suspicious, nor did there seem to be anything of particular use--aside from the video he'd found ready to play, which had unsettled him.

Which meant that if he was going to find anything else out today, it would be outside his assigned living quarters. Malcolm was by no means thrilled by this place, even if it did have a touch of pleasing aesthetic. In a way, it was heartening just to know that he was hardly the only one wandering aimlessly amidst the confusion.

He'd yet to resort to yelling at the ceiling in frustration.

"I think you'll find there aren't many people around who find this particularly funny," he remarked to the fellow.
