However, guesswork when it came to humans wasn't Hope's best skill. In fact, he failed miserably in interaction, so he pushed the thought out of his head and smiled a little back at the man.
Since there were no other people around (as far as he could see), he decided he'd have to take his chances to ask about the library and hope the other man knew enough about the establishment to help him out. "Hi, excuse me-- do you know where the books on history are located?"
