Hope wasn't an expert on reading people, but he knew the look of someone fraying at the seams. He'd seen it far too many times in his... past life.
It was probably none of his business though, and he doubted that a stranger would take nicely to another stranger getting into their private business. However, Hope would make it a point to be a little more nice to let the man know his help was appreciated.
He followed the man through the library, taking note of where they were going and noticing that almost all of the books were electronic despite the section of paperbacks he'd met him in. Perhaps they were the only paper books left, and everything here was done through electronics, which was a shame because he still liked the feel of paper and bound books despite most everything back in Gran Pulse being on databases and such.
Once or twice he stopped to actually ogle some of the books (so much science), but moved again. He'd keep those in mind for later.
... Funny thing though, he didn't think he saw even one novel amongst the shelves.
