I'm a dancin' man and I just can't lose
WHO: Cabanela (Dillon Hays), OPEN
WHAT: Cabanela attempts to teach people to dance
WHERE: A dance studio. A few days before this, an advertisement for dance lessons would have gone up with the location, date, and time. On the door of the building a recycled poster taped up says "Dillon's Dance Lessons: Free of Charge!"
WHEN: All day on the 28th
WARNINGS: Terrible dance lessons ITT
Today was one of those days that Cabanela was sure was going to be a hit. He was still unsure about whether or not he was actually Dillon Hays, leaning towards a big "no", but he wasn't stupid enough to try and make folks here angry. So he had to try and do something when he wasn't wondering how he was going to work security when there were plenty of guards around. It seemed like a waste of time, and he couldn't very well wander around the Cave doing detective work and not draw attention to himself, so the best thing he could do was that other hobby of Dillon's.
Cabanela had never before attempted to teach people do dance-- his dance was practically trademarked, but he could give it a shot. What was the harm, right? The Professor would probably be annoyed, and Lynne would be an embarrassed. Jowd might join in if he wasn't in so much trouble, but that was something he couldn't concern himself with. The best way to keep himself from being suspicious was to embrace the habits of Dillon. And that, as far as he was concerned, wasn't a half bad idea.
Dancing was fun. That, and he'd brought punch.

Besides, maybe John was a dancer, though the idea made Jonas blush.
"Hello?"

Finally, a nibble! He had been sitting near the door, hoping to greet the first few people who had arrived. He stood up to shake the stranger's hand. "The name's Dillon Hays," he said. "Thought I'd set up shop here. Can't very well do work here without a security team, so I decided that I'd take my chances at teaching dance for the other Sleepers. Just a bit of fun, you know, baby? Some fun to pass the time."

But he composed himself as quickly as he could and shook the man's hand with a small polite smile. "John Hamilton. What would you be doing if they had a security team?" He asked, unable to help himself.

After her hours at the library, Elena dropped off her things at her living quarters, and then headed for the dance studio.
"Dillon?" she called out, as she popped through the door, dressed in less restrictive clothing.

While she had gone to every school dance, Elena got the feeling that the dancing Dillon was teaching wasn't exactly the usual bop and pop.

She'd been to a couple of the council-run balls and galas, what with Dad having been on the Founder's Council after all. A pang of pain went through her at the memories of dancing with her dad, stronger than she'd felt in a long time.

"We can start off slow, of course," he said, arms stretching out.

She raised her arms and accepted his hands, shifting slightly from foot to foot. "What next?"

Probably a bit too complex of a first-time dance, but he was too enthused to think about it.
